On the pretense of a business trip, Japanese multi millionaire Yasujiro Endo (John Fujioka) jorneys to the African nation of Imtazi. In reality, Endo is on a personal mission a quest to discover the truth about a Samurai ancestor who disappeared in Africa two centuries ago, and perhaps to find the true spirit of the Samurai he feels deep within himself. Soon he is drawn into a jungle filled with political intrigue, uneasy alliances, and murderous enemies at every turn. As he closes in on his inner truth, the forces surround him also close in, driving The Last Samurai! toward an action packed fight to the finish where bravery and betrayl lead to the ultimate sacrifice.
